Oulunkylä neighbourhood will have 96 new homes on Käskynhaltijantie in June – applications accepted from 1 April onwards
The housing location at the address Käskynhaltijantie 38 will have 96 new homes ready in June, ranging from studios to four-bedroom family apartments. The application period for the apartments starts on Tuesday 1 April. You can apply for the apartments by submitting an application to the City of Helsinki.

If you have a pending housing application, you can add the apartments of the new location to your application by editing the application during the application period. A third of the apartments are reserved as exchange apartments for people already living in a Heka apartment.
Please note that according to a government decision, income limits are in use in Heka tenant selection at the beginning of 2025. The income limits are applied to both new applicants and those changing apartments within Heka.
96 new apartments in Oulunkylä
Käskynhaltijantie 38 is located in the Oulunkylä neighbourhood, which has extensive services, such as shops, schools and daycare centres and many activity opportunities. Helsinki city centre is 10 minutes away, and light rail line 15 and several bus lines also operate in the Oulunkylä area.
The housing location has 96 apartments ranging from studios of 30 square metres to more spacious family apartments. Most of the apartments are studios and two-bedroom apartments. The apartments are designed to be fully accessible. The interiors are bright and light-coloured. The floors are finished with durable and easy-care vinyl planks. The kitchens are equipped with a dishwasher, an induction cooker and a refrigerator-freezer. Most apartments have a balcony with glazing.
The building’s shared facilities support community spirit and make everyday life easier. Tenants have access to a club room that they can use for diverse community activities, a laundry room, storage facilities and a pleasant yard.
The building has five to six storeys and three sections with elevators. The hallways are fully accessible from the courtyard and the street. The building has solar panels on the roof. Like all new Heka locations, Käskynhaltijantie 38 is a smoke-free location: smoking is prohibited inside the apartments, on the balconies, in the shared facilities and in the yard.
