Käskynhaltijantie 38 is located in the Oulunkylä neighbourhood, which has extensive services, such as shops, schools and daycare centres and many activity opportunities. Helsinki city centre is 10 minutes away, and light rail line 15 and several bus lines also operate in the Oulunkylä area.

The housing location has 96 apartments ranging from studios of 30 square metres to more spacious family apartments. Most of the apartments are studios and two-bedroom apartments. The apartments are designed to be fully accessible. The interiors are bright and light-coloured. The floors are finished with durable and easy-care vinyl planks. The kitchens are equipped with a dishwasher, an induction cooker and a refrigerator-freezer. Most apartments have a balcony with glazing. Each apartment also has a heated storage compartment.

The building’s shared facilities support community spirit and make everyday life easier. Tenants have access to a club room that they can use for diverse community activities, a laundry room, storage facilities and a pleasant yard. Parking spaces are located in the carpark in the area. There are bicycle storage spaces in the yard and in the ground-floor storage facilities.

The building has five to six storeys and three sections with elevators. The hallways are fully accessible from the courtyard and the street. The building has solar panels on the roof. Like all new Heka locations, Käskynhaltijantie 38 is a smoke-free location: smoking is prohibited inside the apartments, on the balconies, in the shared facilities and in the yard.

The lead architect for the location is Vesa Humalisto from INARO Oy.
