Description of the location
The housing location Maununnevantie 3 has 127 homes from studios to five-room family housing.
Maununnevantie 3 is located in the Maununneva district in Northwest Helsinki. There is a bus stop nearby, and the area has excellent walking and cycling connections to the city centre via Central Park. The neighbourhood has a grocery shop, a daycare centre and a comprehensive school.
The location Maununnevantie 3 was built as ‘renovation demolition,’ which means that three old residential buildings on the plot were demolished to make room for the new buildings.
The location consists of four residential buildings of 4–6 floors. The buildings are fully accessible, and the hallways have lifts. In addition to homes, the buildings have shared facilities for the residents, such as a laundry room, drying rooms, three shared saunas and various storage facilities. The buildings’ facade is mainly light-coloured brick.
The apartments are accessible. All of the apartments have either a glazed balcony or balconette. The floor material is light-coloured vinyl board. The bathrooms have ceramic tiles. Each kitchen has an induction cooker, an extractor hood and a fridge-freezer. There are also spaces and connectors reserved for dishwashers and microwave ovens. The apartments come with a heated storage compartment located at the yard level.
The yard has 67 uncovered parking spaces with heating sockets. Two of the parking spaces are dimensioned for persons with mobility limitations. The stairwell has an accessible route to the parking area. The location also has bicycle storage spaces in the yard area and the ground floor storage rooms.
Like all new Heka locations, Maununnevantie 3 is a smoke-free location: smoking is prohibited inside the apartments, on the balconies and terraces and in the yards.
